To mark 30 years of magnificent chamber music, we have pulled out all the stops to make this a season to remember. Did you know that the two mountain peaks on our logo signify the two original Artistic Directors, Victor Costanzi and Eugene Osadchy? We are delighted to welcome them back to our newly refurbished stage for the first concert of the season, where we will spend a little time reminiscing! In the second program we look to the future by introducing the young and talented Talisa Blackman. François Houle, clarinet, and Jane Hayes, piano, are back by popular demand for concert three. Of course, no Vetta season would be complete without a string program: in this year’s fourth concert we will perform a brilliant Mozart quintet and, in my opinion, the greatest string sextet ever written! For our fifth concert we are commis- sioning an exciting and collaborative work that will be a West Coast version of the Seasons paired with the ever popular Vivaldi Four Seasons. What better way to rejoice? And don’t miss our special gala concert with internationally-renowned pianist Angela Cheng playing with our own Vetta Chamber Players at Christ Church Cathedral. We invite you to celebrate with us and help make this a season to remember!

Yours in music,

Joan Blackman
